Hi Tahir,

The follow, no follow debate has been floating around for a while. We know for a fact that a "no-follow" specifically stops the flow of page rank. However does this mean it stops relevancy passing??

Well not sure is the honest answer, if you use webmaster tools you will see that Google notes all your links not just the "follow" links, therefore Google has the ability to follow the links but does not pass PageRank.

I remember Matt Cutts attempting to give an answer to this but he was vague to say the least, in my opinion, I personally think "relevance" should be your main focus and PageRank a much less significant side focus.

I'm sure this will be debated forever, as if Google gave an answer and said "yes no follows still pass relevance, the whole world would be spamming sites like wikipedia etc....

excellent work, what do you think of link from page rank 5 with nofollow tag vs a link from 0 page rank with follow tag?
Just think other factors are similar (anchor text, content etc)

Utter tosh and bibble, a link is a link is a link from any quarter irrespective of PR end of conversation. If this were the case i would throw out a message never to link to my site unless it is a pagerank 8 or above… make sense?
